Artisan Afternoon: Knitting

Artisan Afternoon is a free teen and adult class featuring a local artist. Every 2nd Friday at 4pm, students will be provided supplies and instruction to learn a new skill! This is a free class, but space is limited to provide the best learning experience, so registration is required. Our knitting instructor, Pat Bartlett will be offering a second knitting lesson! 

Valentine's Day Pictures in the Alley

VALENTINE'S DAY PICTURES IN THE ALLEY - We've scheduled multiple Pictures in the Alley events leading up to Valentine's Day.  No appointments necessary.  Just show up.  Cost is $5 and includes a 5x7 print.  Other print sizes, canvas wraps, and high resolution digital images are also available, and pets are always welcome.  We have several wonderful restaurants in the historic Russellville Downtown area (Kob Jai Thai Restaurant, The Old Bank Sports Grill, Fat Daddy's Bar-B-Que, Pasta Grill Russellville, and Stoby's Russellville) that would make for a perfect dinner and a picture opportunity.  We hope to see you in The Alley.

All are welcome to attend this no pressure, no questions asked free lunch. Doors open at 11:30am. Fresh coffee is served and then lunch is served at 12pm to 1pm.

In addition to the wholesome and delicious hot FREE LUNCH  served two other offerings for our Neighbors are now available:
Guests who come for lunch can now pick up a sack lunch to take with them and have a second free meal; and, after lunch, there are usually “take-outs” available (and, as always, generous portions of “seconds” are served  before dessert.)
Also, the clergy and people of All Saints’ have begun a new “Loaves and Fishes” ministry, with Sunday morning offerings at the altar now including necessities like cereal, peanut butter, shelf-stable milk, toilet paper,  toiletries, hand soap, and detergent.  The available items gifted each Sunday will be distributed on the following Saturday to Neighbors Table guests after the meal.

You can explore nature at this park because Lake Dardanelle’s diverse habitats sustain many living creatures. Meadowbrook Trail is home to many of these creatures. Join a park interpreter at the amphitheater to discover what animals call this area home. Then head down the trail to see how many creatures you can see or what traces of them we can find.

The CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) played a large role in the development of Mount Nebo State Park. They built some of the cabins that park visitors stay in, they built some of the trails that park visitors hike, and they built the highway that park visitors drive to the park on.
