In the heart of Paris, a kind and eccentric millionairess wills her entire estate to Duchess, her high-society cat, and her three little kittens. Laughs and adventure ensue as the greedy, bumbling butler pulls off the ultimate catnap caper. Now it's up to the rough-and-tumble alley cat, Thomas O'Malley, and his band of swingin' jazz cats to save the day.

Dinner with Hershell "Woody" Williams, USMC; the only living World War II Marine veteran awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Hershell "Woody" Williams, USMC, is the only living World War II Marine veteran to have been awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. At 95, Woody spends his time traveling the United States on behalf of his Hershell Woody Williams Medal of Honor Foundation, raising awareness of American Gold Star Families. "Gold Star Families" is a term that has come to designate the families of our nation who have lost a loved one in battle. Woody will be in Arkansas this weekend as a part of the Arkansas Run for the Fallen, and also to kick-off efforts for the construction of a Gold Star Families Memorial Monument in Russellville. This dinner is a fund-raising event for that effort. Tickets available through Eventbrite.

Neighbor's Table

All are welcome to attend this no pressure, no questions asked free lunch. Doors open at 11:30am. Fresh coffee is served and then lunch is served at 12pm to 1pm.

In addition to the wholesome and delicious hot FREE LUNCH  served two other offerings for our Neighbors are now available:
Guests who come for lunch can now pick up a sack lunch to take with them and have a second free meal; and, after lunch, there are usually “take-outs” available (and, as always, generous portions of “seconds” are served  before dessert.)
Also, the clergy and people of All Saints’ have begun a new “Loaves and Fishes” ministry, with Sunday morning offerings at the altar now including necessities like cereal, peanut butter, shelf-stable milk, toilet paper,  toiletries, hand soap, and detergent.  The available items gifted each Sunday will be distributed on the following Saturday to Neighbors Table guests after the meal.

The Arkansas River creates many recreational opportunities for us to enjoy. Join Lake Dardanelle State Park staff for O.W.L.S. (Outdoor Women Learning Skills), a program series designed to give ladies the opportunity to explore the available recreation at Lake Dardanelle and the surrounding area, by learning skills and knowledge needed to enjoy nature. The series is one evening a month for 6 months, you can come to 1 or come to them all. Each month we will cover a new topic. Preregistration is required for each date and includes dinner.

Explore the wonders of Lake Dardanelle and the Arkansas River aboard the state park tour boat. Enjoy abundant wildlife, amazing history, and astounding views of the river valley throughout this 1-hour cruise. There is no fee for the tour, but space is limited. You must register for the tour. Call (479) 967-5516 to register for a seat. We will begin boarding 15 minutes before the tour, at the boat dock near the south boat ramp. (Weather permitting.)

Yell County group, Healthy Active Yell, is partnering with Mount Nebo State Park for a hike to encourage Yell County to get active. Join a park interpreter on a hike on a portion of the Rim Trail to enjoy the views and the awe-inspiring nature of the park. This moderately difficult hike will be approximately 2.5 miles long. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, and bring water.

Meet Park Interpreter Matt at the Richter Memorial Overlook on Red Bluff Drive and take a short stroll to the CCC Overlook where you can watch the sunset from one of the most scenic locations in the park. Bring a flashlight for the walk back to your car. Sunset is at approximately 7:19 p.m.
