All Saints' Episcopal Church and @TheTable college ministry proudly present "Love is Love is Love Poetry Slam" during the September Downtown Russellville Art Walk at Depot Park. All ages are welcome to perform their favorite poem or song with the theme of Love. 

Take the stage and share an original poem or recite your favorite sonnet. The theme of Love is limitless. You can speak about a person, a community, our planet and so much more. 

There will be a sign up station at Depot Park starting at 5:30pm. Performers are more than welcome to sign up for multiple spots. 

We hope this event will help show that we are all connected and stronger together through the power of Love.

This is a family friendly event, so language of the poem needs to be PG so all can have a good time.

Pope County Fair Pageants 2019

The 2019 Pope County Fair Pageants are scheduled for September 7 at the Atkins High School Auditorium. The Little Miss and Mister Pageants will begin at 10 a.m. and the Miss and Teen Pageants will begin at 6:00 p.m.


Miss contestants must be single females between the ages of 18-23 and a resident in Pope County. Miss contestants will compete in four areas of competition: Private Interview, One-piece swimsuit, evening gown, and on-stage question. The Teen contestants must be single females between the ages of 14-17 and meet resident requirements. Teen contestants will compete in four areas of competition: Private Interview, evening gown, sport/hobby wear and on-stage question. Each division winner will receive a prize package consisting of crown, sash, flowers, and other prizes. The Miss Pope County Fair Queen and Teen Miss Pope County Fair Queen winners will receive the opportunity to compete at the Arkansas State Fair in October.

Entry fee is $50 and Optional Photogenic fee is $10.


The Little Miss Fair Queen and Little Mister Fair King pageants are open to all residents in the state of Arkansas. Age divisions for girls are 0-18 months, 19-35 months, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-11 and 12-13 years and Boys ages 0-3 and 4-up years. The cost to enter is $35. There will also be an optional photogenic contest in each of the age divisions for an entry fee of $10.

Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, and bring water.
