 Every first Friday at 4:00pm, the Pope County Library will be offering free American Sign Language classes for all ages and abilities! Children must be accompanied by an adult to attend. Classes will be taught by Bonny Hill. Bonny received her bachelor of science degree in elementary education and deaf education (K-12) from the University of Arkansas Little Rock, and has taught American Sign Language classes throughout the state for years. Woolverton Mountain Music Festival

The Woolverton Mountain Music Festival will take place on Woolverton Mountain in the Austin Township at 16 Austin Road Clinton Arkansas 72031 on October 4-5, 2019. This event is in honor/memory of Clifton Clowers. The Clowers family are our honored guests. This two-day music festival will have lots of local and out of state musicians. Friday, October 4th Headliner is Dallas Moore and Saturday, October 5th Headliner is The Kentucky Headhunters. Camping will be available, vendors, and lots of food trucks.

 FREE Lunar Photography Workshop - We're planning to set up a telescope in downtown Russellville (in Depot Park) on Saturday evening (10.5.19) for a little night sky exploration.  The Moon, Jupiter and Saturn should all be visible.  The telescope is set up for lunar astrophotography, and we'll have adapters for Nikon, Canon DSLR cameras as well Fujifilm and MFT mirrorless, so if you have a camera, bring it out and well let you mount it to the telescope and take a few pictures.  If you're not sure about your camera's mount, just comment below.  We may be able to accommodate additional cameras.  This event is completely FREE!
