Come see us at the Jingle Bell Market in Danville School Cafeteria this Saturday! We have lots of cute Country Decor for the holidays and every day! Perfect for gifts for loved ones!
I have had many people ask about events or rides. I thought it would be great to have some fun and get some cash to go towards a worthy cause. The weather is going to be cooling down and what better time of the year, than early November, to have a fall ride.
We are going to get a Poker Run together on the 8th of November. This is the weekend before Veteran's Day is observed.
The details are as follows:
The ride will leave Mack's Pines on November 8th, 2019 at 9am. Everyone needs to be signed up by 8am that morning. Each person, that wants to draw cards for a chance to win, must pay $10. Each person will draw 5 cards along the route. The best hand wins.
All of the proceeds will go to "Comfort Warriors". They will make sure that 100% of the money goes to someone that needs it. No money goes to any other fees.
The winner will get a two night stay for two people in one of our cabins. Second place will get a one night stay for two people in one of our cabins. Third place will get a meal for two, of your choice, at our Café.
I'm sure that this will be a fun filled day. And it always feels good to show our support for the people that keep us safe and free.
I hope to hear from ya'll soon.

Arkansas State Parks Events This Weekend
You can explore nature at this park because Lake Dardanelle’s diverse habitats sustain many living creatures. At night, the park is full of sounds and smells much different than the daytime. Different animals are awake and are ready to be seen or heard. Join a park interpreter at the amphitheater to explore nature at night during a hike on the Meadowbrook Trail.
Many of the early explorers, including those that traveled through the area around what is now Lake Dardanelle State Park, kept journals of the things they saw and experienced as they traversed the wilderness. Join a park interpreter in the visitor center Orientation Room to learn why it was so important. You will also be able make your own nature journal to take with you.
We have 8,000 gallons of aquariums, filled with many of the fish species found in Lake Dardanelle. Join park staff in the visitor center as they feed the fish live food. See for yourself, what’s for lunch?
Lake Dardanelle’s diverse habitats provide homes for many creatures large and small. Join a park interpreter in the kid’s corner of the visitor center as she tells you about some of the smaller creatures. She will also feed these creatures; so come discover the small native wonders we have around us.
The diverse habitats around Lake Dardanelle create many opportunities for discovery and exploration. Meet a park interpreter at the amphitheater to find out what is in her magic bag! We’ll play a little game to let you touch and feel your way around. Hints will be given, but you’ll be testing your sense of wildlife!

All ages welcome!
Lake Dardanelle State Park is proud to offer free winter lake cruises for the best chance of seeing our national symbol, the bald eagle. Many other spectacular birds will be in the area for viewing including American white pelicans, ducks, and snow geese. Please dress warmly, as temperatures and winds are more severe on the lake. In an effort to accommodate as many people as possible for our tours, we will be taking reservations. Call the visitor center at (479) 967-5516 to reserve your seat.
