An intimate evening of beautiful and fun Christmas music featuring Coralin Davelaar on cello, Brian Faulkner on piano, and Dr. Brandon Faulkner singing, as well as some possible other guests. There will be some special time set aside for our audience to gather around the piano and just sing some carols and make some memories and maybe even some new friends. Plus, we will have cookies and cocoa or coffee or water all included in the ticket price.

Seating is limited to 75. Doors will open at 6:30 and music will begin at 7.

The most celebrated outdoor light display in Arkansas for the holiday season opens at Garvan the Saturday before Thanksgiving and runs through New Year’s Eve (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas days). The Gardens will be aglow with over 4.5 million lights in a myriad of natural settings. Features include the luminescent Garden of the Pine Wind, the 50-foot tall Holiday Tree which plays holiday tunes animated to a light show, the Parterre garden on the Great Lawn, and traditional holiday scenes in the woodlands. Conclude your walking tour with free hot chocolate. The Chipmunk Café is open nightly until 9 p.m. serving soups, sandwiches, and snacks.

Holiday Lights is open when it rains; the Gardens closes in the case of inclement weather that would threaten the safety of visitors (lightning, ice, hail. high winds). Sorry, there are no refunds for closings.

Lake Dardanelle State Park is proud to offer free winter lake cruises for the best chance of seeing our national symbol, the Bald Eagle. Many other spectacular birds will be in the area for viewing including American white pelicans, ducks, and snow geese. Please dress warmly, as temperatures and winds are more severe on the lake. In an effort to accommodate as many people as possible for our tours, we will be taking reservations. Call the visitor center at (479) 967-5516 to reserve your seat. We will begin boarding 15 minutes before the tour at the boat dock near the tournament weigh-in facility. Tours are weather dependent.

AQUATICS SCAVENGER HUNT

Learn about the luxurious Summit Park Hotel that burned down in 1918, and explore the role of the Civilian Conservation Corps in the development of Mount Nebo State Park in the 1930s. This approximate 1-mile hike will be strenuous. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water.
