Getting RESERVED TIME tickets to Holiday Lights is as easy as 1-2-3!

• CREATE your General Public User ACCOUNT, choose and ORDER your tickets online for DATE and TIME desired

• Bring Ticket Code(s) on your MOBILE DEVICE or as a PRINTED TICKET(s) for admission to Holiday Lights

Online Ticket holders will use the EXPRESS ENTRANCE LANE to enter and park. Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your TICKET ENTRANCE TIME.

The most celebrated outdoor light display in Arkansas for the holiday season opens at Garvan the Saturday before Thanksgiving and runs through New Year’s Eve (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas days). The Gardens will be aglow with over 4.5 million lights in a myriad of natural settings. Features include the luminescent Garden of the Pine Wind, the 50-foot tall Holiday Tree which plays holiday tunes animated to a light show, the Parterre garden on the Great Lawn, and traditional holiday scenes in the woodlands. Conclude your walking tour with free hot chocolate. The Chipmunk Café is open nightly until 9 p.m. serving soups, sandwiches, and snacks.

Holiday Lights is open when it rains; the Gardens closes in the case of inclement weather that would threaten the safety of visitors (lightning, ice, hail. high winds). Sorry, there are no refunds for closings.

Lake Dardanelle State Park is proud to offer free winter lake cruises for the best chance of seeing our national symbol, the Bald Eagle. Many other spectacular birds will be in the area for viewing including American white pelicans, ducks, and snow geese. Please dress warmly, as temperatures and winds are more severe on the lake. In an effort to accommodate as many people as possible for our tours, we will be taking reservations. Call the visitor center at (479) 967-5516 to reserve your seat. We will begin boarding 15 minutes before the tour at the boat dock near the tournament weigh-in facility. Tours are weather dependent.

NATIVE AMERICAN GAMES

Native Americans who inhabited this area before removal made decisions that changed their lives. Lover's Leap and the legend surrounding it is a part of the tradition of Mount Nebo State park. Join a park interpreter to hear the legend of Lover's Leap, explore the history of Mount Nebo, and enjoy the breathtaking views from the Rim Trail. This hike will be moderately difficult. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, and bring water.

The CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) played a large role in the development of Mount Nebo State Park. They built the cabins that park visitors stay in, they built trails that park visitors hike, and they built the highway that park visitors drive to the park on. What was their daily life like, though? Join a park interpreter to discover what the day to day life of a CCC enrollee was like.
